At The Aliathon Resort we strive to give our guests the highest standard of service and products to ensure their satisfaction. As part of this philosophy we develop and certify processes and management systems. Over the course of the last few years, the Aliathon Resort has had numerous inspections, achieved official certifications and awards for the implementation of various internationally recognised standards governing quality, health & safety, food safety & hygiene as well as for environment-friendly practices. This not only reflects our personnel’s conscientious performance, but also reassures our guests that they receive the best possible care.
The Aliathon Resort is certified with the following Management Systems & Awards:
ISO 9001:2008 – Quality Management System
ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. In addition, it aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
ISO 22000:2005 – Food Safety Management System (HACCP)
ISO 22000:2005 specifies requirements for a food safety management system where an organisation in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption.
ISO 14001:2004 – Environmental Management System
ISO 14001:2004 specifies requirements for an environmental management system to enable an organisation to develop and implement a policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and other requirements to which the organisation subscribes, and information about significant environmental aspects. It applies to those environmental aspects that the organisation identifies as those which it can control and those which it can influence. It does not itself state specific environmental performance criteria.
ISO 18001:2007 – OHSAS: Occupational Health & Safety System
OHSAS 18001:2007 is an internationally recognised assessment specification for occupational health and safety management systems. OSHAS provides a framework that allows the organisation to consistently identify and control its health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall performance.
EMAS – Eco-Management and Audit Scheme
The EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a management tool for companies and other organisations to evaluate report and improve their environmental performance. The scheme has been available for participation by companies since 1995 and was originally restricted to companies in industrial sectors.
Travelife is an international award that has been designed as an affordable and fair system that helps hotels and accommodations to improve the way they manage their social and environmental issues, by complying with the requirements of its 99 robust sustainability criteria. And if a property meets the criteria requirements, they will receive a Travelife Bronze, Silver or Gold award, allowing them to proudly display their award status on their websites, stationery and in their properties.
